The Language of Heaven

Welcome. Thanks for coming and look forward to this time that we have. I want to learn a little bit about the language of heaven.

So, first of all, I'm really more of a teacher than I am a preacher. So, I like to have a little bit of feedback sometimes. So feel free if I ask a question, even if it's a silly question, to answer, call out an answer.

I would appreciate that. All right, so today we're going to learn some basic principles about the language of heaven. And we'll look at some examples of how that works in the Bible and how God speaks from heaven, especially.

And we've already had a little bit of a hint to how God speaks from the children's story. Maybe we'll mention that again. But we will look especially at what God is speaking today to the world.

We'll see a little bit of that. But especially how God speaks from heaven. So, what comes to your mind when I say the word apple? What comes to your mind? Okay, maybe one of these.

Okay, you have a picture in your mind, right? You say apple, and then in your mind you're thinking, right? Okay, so we have words, and the words bring up something to our mind. But is the word apple, is it the apple itself? No. We say apple, and there's no apple.

But the word apple teaches us, or it represents the real thing. So, that's true for any language. We all have our own words for apple, or for anything.

That's part of the language, and the language of heaven is similar. There are words, and there are sentences, and it's based on our experiences. Just like for me, I grew up calling this an apple in English.

You call it a manzana. Some others call it an apple. But they all point to the same thing.

They all bring to mind the same thing. So, it's based on our experience. And in the Bible, there's a recording of a lot of experience that God has with his people, that he had over thousands of years.

And it's that experience that gives meaning to the words that he uses. Just like it's our experience that teaches us that the word apple means that fruit. All right? Good.

Is it only words that can have that representation of something else? What if I drew something? Yeah? There's no words, right? But it still brings to mind the same thing. All right. A little smelling, if you smell something.

Sure. Many different things. Just the lines point to the... It brings that to mind.

So, we would call this a symbol. But effectively, it's the same thing as a word. You could even use emojis on your cell phone.

You can just put the picture in there, and it replaces the word. It's the same thing. And this is a lot about how the language of heaven works.

It works on symbols. These are the words. It's not as much in the words that we use, but they're in symbols that we see with our eyes.

Okay. So, for example, the Bible talks about sheep. And it talks about fish caught in a net.

What do these represent? What do sheep represent? Christians, yes. How about fish? The same, Christians as well. Yeah.

So, we can have two different things that also say more or less the same thing. But that's true in any language, right? You have more than one word that you can use to describe the same thing. Now, there's one important point to make.

So, say we understand that sheep represent people or Christians. Why? Is it because Christians are really hairy and wooly? No, but there's something about sheep. Who do Christians look up to? Who is their example? Christ, right? That's why they're called Christians, because they look to Christ.

And what do sheep do? They're known for following, right? And so Christians follow Jesus. We follow Christ. And sheep follow the shepherd.

So, it's important to understand that there's always something that connects. Something about the behavior of the animal. What about the fish? What relates to Christians there? About fishermen.

Jesus told his disciples, I will make you fishers of men. So, what do you do as a fisherman? You catch fish, right? So, that's talking about especially the aspect that Christians have of reaching out to others. So, these are all things that are captured in there.

But it's very important to understand that when we're speaking in the language of pictures, it's never the case that everything about it is important for what we're trying to describe. There's other characteristics, but there's usually one thing or a few things that are important, and the rest is less important or not important. All right.

So, these would represent like words in our language, right? But we want to put those words together to make a sentence. It's not enough just to know apple. You have to be able to put that into a sentence.

And one example of that... By the way, these would be called then a sign. In the heavenly language, when you have more than one symbol working together, that's a sign. So, let's look at an example from the Bible.

And this comes from 2 Kings 13. And I put it on the screen in both languages so we can reference it there quickly. But this is a story about Elisha.

And he was talking with the king of Israel. And so, he does a little demonstration with him. He takes him to the window with a bow and arrow.

And he shoots the arrow. And then he says something. He says, the arrow of the Lord's deliverance.

And the arrow of deliverance from Syria. So, he's saying, this is what it means. This arrow means you're going to be delivered from Syria.

And then, he takes him outside. He says, take the arrows and smite them on the ground. And so, the king did.

He took the arrows and he struck the ground three times. Now, what would that mean? If you're taking arrows, he explained what it was. He said, this is the arrow of your deliverance from Syria.

And he smote the ground. He struck the ground. And that would represent him striking his enemy, Syria.

The land that he was fighting against. And then, the prophet was upset with him that he only did it three times. Because, if he did it more, five or six times, then that would represent how many times he would strike the nation.

So, that's an example of the symbols in action. He was making a sign. He was speaking in the heavenly language.

By striking the land with the arrows of deliverance. All right. And we have symbols all the time in our lives, in our language.

For example, here are a couple that we're accustomed to. What's the difference between these two? One has the person, what person? Jesus on the cross. And one is without Jesus on the cross.

So, what's the difference? They're both the cross? What do these tell us? What do they point to? Do they both point to the resurrection? If you're resurrected, that means you come back to life. He wasn't on the cross when he was resurrected. But, hanging on the cross, that points to when? When he died, right? So, these point to two times very close to each other in Jesus' life.

When he was dying for us. And afterward, when he was raised to life. And therefore, we like the one without Jesus there.

Because it reminds us that he is alive. Even now. Whereas the other one celebrates his death.

And that was very saddening for the disciples. And also for us. But the joy of the cross is in the empty cross.

Some other interesting symbols that maybe you don't recognize so often. These are kind of secret symbols. What do you notice in common between these? They're all stone, yes.

They're doing this funny little sign with their fingers. But notice, these are all very different. These aren't Christian.

Okay, this one is Christian. That's a statue of Jesus. And there he's making this hand sign.

Who's this? That's Buddha. And that's very ancient. Thousands of years old.

And yet he's doing the same sign. And then who's this? Billy Goat. Billy Goat, yeah.

That's Baphomet, they call him. Still doing the same sign. Now, I don't know what the sign means.

But it's interesting because it shows you that it's older than all of those together. The meaning, something very, very old. And that tells us that there is something in society.

There's a language. Somebody is trying to communicate. Somebody knows what that means.

And there is a kind of unity between those. So sometimes you can see from things like that who is really behind it, perhaps. Anyway, I'm not going to talk so much about that.

But it's kind of interesting. But for us, we're more interested in what God is saying. This would be maybe what man is saying.

Or maybe what the devil is saying. Because he was cast to the earth and he inspires people to do things. And it seems like there might be some... Yeah, it's a hidden language.

There's some deception going on there. Normally we wouldn't make a connection between these three very different religions. So there's something secret, something deceptive going on there.

But we want to see what God has to say and how he speaks. All right. So we can learn from nature, because God is the creator.

And let's look at Genesis 1. And verse 14. Here we go. So this is the creation of the world.

And it's said that God made lights and divided the day and the night. And then he said, let them be for signs and for seasons and days and years. So this is about the lights in the firmament.

Or on this side. Which are the lights? Exactly. We have the sun that gives us light.

We have the moon at night most of the time. And we have the stars. And those are for various things.

For signs, that means they're for God speaking. He speaks with the stars, with the sun, with the moon. And they're also for what are these other things? Seasons, days, years.

Those are measurements of what? Time. They're measurements of time. All right.

So for time and for signs. Good. Let's also look at Psalm 19.

It says, the heavens declare the glory of God. The heavens. That means the sky, the stars.

I won't read everything. But it says, there's no speech or language where their voice is not heard. So everybody can hear it.

Because you can see it. If you see it, you don't have to know those words. You can understand it.

All right. And verse 5 says, well, let me get that in context. He's talking about their language, the voice of the sun, the moon, the stars.

But especially for the sun in this case. He's saying, in the heavens, he put a place for the sun. And then he says, the sun is like a bridegroom.

So there he's saying what the word means. We see the sun in the sky. What does it mean? It means the bridegroom.

Who is the bridegroom? Jesus is the bridegroom. Exactly. So the sun represents Jesus.

Can a word mean, in our language, can a word mean more than one thing? Sure. Sure. Sometimes we have the same word and it means different things.

And you know what it means based on how you use it. The context. Yeah, based on the context.

So the bridegroom is one example of what the sun means. It doesn't mean it can't mean anything else. All right.

So Jesus told us when his disciples asked him a question. Let me get the question. They were looking at the temple and how beautiful it was.

And then Jesus said, they said, they were talking about the temple. It was beautiful with all these stones, precious stones and things. And then Jesus said something that really shocked them.

He said not one stone would be left on another. It means the whole place would be broken down and destroyed. And that really shocked the disciples.

And you can tell by their question. Then they're like, when is that going to happen? But they didn't ask just one thing. They said, when is that going to happen? And when is the end of the world? Because they thought that must be the end of the world.

And that's actually, I'm quoting that from Matthew. But here it's in Luke. It talks about what sign will there be when this happens.

So they're expecting a sign for the end when this terrible thing would happen. All right. So Jesus answers their question.

But Jesus knows better. He knows that when the temple would be destroyed was not the end of the world. So he actually answers their first question.

And then he answers their second question separately. And their second question was about what sign there would be. And then he tells them something interesting.

He says, when you see these things beginning to come to pass, what should you do? Look up. And what do you see when you look up? You see the sun. You see the moon, the stars, depending on what time of day it is.

And what do those things tell us? The time. They tell us about the time. And also they give us signs.

All right. That's what we learned from Genesis. All right.

Good. So when we look into heaven, let me go here. In Amos chapter 5, he's giving a prophecy.

And he says, seek him, that is God, who made the seven stars and Orion and turns the shadow of death. And he says some other things there, but I just want to focus on that first part. He makes the seven stars and Orion.

What is Orion? Is it a star? Yes. No. Orion has several stars.

What do we call that? It's a constellation. So here he's saying, seek or look after God, who makes the stars and the constellations. Okay.

So in fact, the word that is used there also means constellations. So in the heavens, there's lots and lots of different stars, and they're grouped into constellations. And those have meaning.

They're like more words. And so, and Orion is just one constellation, but there are many others. But how do you know what God is saying with those? Right? We need some way to point to them, right? Because they're there all the time.

So it's like you have a book full of words, but when you read it, you read line by line, right? So you need something to point to a specific place. So what moves in the heavens that would serve to point? The stars, they stay put. They're the same every night.

Planets, okay? Planets, every night you look out, they moved a little bit. Also the sun. The sun is like a big bright star, right? But we can also, especially with the computers today, but even in ancient times, they knew about where it was in the sky.

And so that's a big, because it's bright, it's a big bright pointer that says, look here. And that's kind of like where you're reading in God's book. All right.

Now here's an interesting thing. In the Bible, let's see. Well, I'll come back to that.

Okay. But for now, let's look at what Jesus was saying in Matthew 24. This is the same story that I was just talking about before, where the disciples were asking him about the buildings of the temple.

And then they're like, when is that going to be that the temple will be destroyed? What's the sign of thy coming and the end of the world? And Jesus said to look up. But he also said something else that is interesting. Watch, therefore.

This is part of his answer. It's just later down in the same chapter. He says, watch.

And where do you watch? Which direction do you look? You watch the stars. You watch the sky. You watch the sun and the moon,

to understand, what does he say you should understand? Watch, therefore, for you know not what hour your Lord does come. All right? So why do we watch? Because we don't know the time. Now, isn't that why you look at a clock? You say, what time is it? Oh, and then you get the time, right? So the clock tells you the time.

It answers your question. If you know the time, do you need to look at the watch? No. So Jesus says, watch, look at these timekeepers, because you don't know what hour your Lord is coming.

Now, what happens when you watch? What do you see? You see the hour. You see the time. All right? So many people misunderstand this.

They think, oh, you have to look. They think it's just poetic that you wait for Jesus to come, and you're looking every day. But they don't really believe that they will understand the time.

But Jesus says, the reason you watch is because you don't know the time, and therefore you will. And he even clarifies that in the next verse. He gives a little example, a story.

He says, know this, that if the good man of the house you know, the owner of a house, if he knew when the thief was going to come, what would he do? What would you do if you knew a thief was going to come tonight at 2 a.m.? You're going to be standing at your door. Where is he? You know? You would watch, right? And then when the thief comes, you're not going to let him break your house, break into your house, right? That's the point of watching. When we watch, when we see the signs in heaven, we learn the time so that he doesn't surprise us.

When Jesus comes, he won't come for us, he won't come like a thief, because we're going to be expecting him, because we know the time. That's the point of watching. Yes, he says, I don't want to lose my place to find it on the screen, but that's when he says, he gives a blessing, and then he says, I come quickly.

Can someone read it for me? Read it in Spanish. Yeah, so that's another example of Jesus calling us to watch, as well. Good.

And it's about the thief. Jesus relates it again to the thief, and says, if you're watching, he won't come as a thief. You will expect him.

Could you show us verse 44? Sure. Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man comes. So, again, it's the same principle.

He's comparing watch. He says, watch, because you don't know the hour, and then here he says, be ready, for the same reason, because you don't know. You're not going to expect that.

So, it's important to watch the whole time. And it's not, okay, one time you've seen on the watch, okay, now I know the time, and then it's just, I can just look it up. Right, right.

But remember the disciples' question. In the beginning, if we look back at their question, they asked him, when shall these things be? So they asked about the time, when the temple would be destroyed. And they also asked, what shall be the sign of thy coming? What's another way you would express that? Yeah, when would you come, okay.

And we look to his clock, we look to the heavens with the sun, the moon, and the stars, to learn that time, to see the sign of his coming. They expect a sign. They expected a sign.

They knew there would be a sign that says, okay, when you see this, I'm coming. And Jesus also pointed that out, when he said, I think it's around 30, yes, thank you. Then shall appear the sign.

That's what they were looking for. They were looking for the sign. He talks about some signs that they would see in heaven, the sun would be darkened, like an eclipse, for example.

The moon wouldn't give her light. And all these things in the heavens would be happening. And then would appear what they asked about.

What is the sign of your coming? Then would appear the sign of the Son of Man. So the sign of the Son of Man is the answer to their question. What is the sign of thy coming? They could have said, what is the sign of the Son of Man? And Jesus said, you need to look up and watch.

And that means, and be ready, yeah, look up to heaven, and it's going to appear. Yeah, Jesus said, the sign will appear, the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. So he made it clear, this isn't going to be an earthly sign, those will happen also, but it's something that will happen in heaven.

So that means, we need to acquaint ourselves with God's language in the heavens, so that we understand, what does it mean that the sun is there, and the planets are there, or whatever, you know, we need to understand those things. So that we can know when Jesus will come, and then, because he comes as a thief, and if we're not waiting for him, if we're not standing at the door saying, when is he coming? when is he coming? Then he's going to come when we're asleep, and he breaks into the house, that's not a good thing. You don't want Jesus to break into your house.

It's never good to have a thief break into your house. You want to be waiting for him, and then, he comes actually as a friend. All right.

So, let me look at a couple of examples from the heavens that we have seen, and I think it illustrates very nicely the point. So, one, here is one place in the heavens. What are we seeing there? Let me explain it.

So, this line is the path of the sun. Every day, the sun moves a little bit further along in the sky, and it goes like that. In this picture, there it is.

So, this would be in the broad daylight. If you actually physically looked out there, you wouldn't see anything. It would just be the bright sky.

But, because we have the computer with the star program that shows us the stars, then we can see exactly where the sun is. And then, these are constellations. You can see we've just connected the lines.

These are very ancient. These have been known from old times. Oh, this is Virgo.

This is Leo. There's 12 of them around the whole sky. All right.

So, this is what the sky looked like at a particular date. This was several years ago in 2017, and it was really popular. Many people saw this, and the reason they saw that is because of what the Bible says.

There appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun. So, there was the constellation of Virgo, who is a woman, and she's clothed with the sun. So, the sun was in Virgo, and the moon was under her feet.

So, this is describing a particular point in time. When the sun was in Virgo, the moon is at her feet, and on her head is a crown of 12 stars. So, let's look at that picture again.

Here's the sun, okay, in Virgo. It's like her clothing. Remember, if you were actually to look at this, she's so clothed you don't see anything, because the sun is very bright, and it hides everything.

But there's the moon at her feet, okay? Now, there's some other things here. Jupiter there, that has other meaning, but for the sign, the sun is like her clothing, the moon at her feet, and what about the crown of 12 stars? Here are the stars of Leo. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. So, normally, you know, the sun comes to Virgo every year, and the moon every month.

So, at least one or two times every year, at least once every year, you're going to have the sun in Virgo and the moon at her feet, every year. Nothing special. But, normally, there's only nine stars in Leo.

But at this time, there's Venus, Mars, and Mercury, three planets. Those ones move. And so, when you would look at this, then you say, okay, nine stars in their place, but then three have come into their place, and nine plus three is what? Twelve.

So, there is the crown, and, of course, the crown is on the head. So, there's the crown of 12 stars. And this fulfills that verse in the Bible.

It's describing that particular date. It's a date that is written in that verse. That's what the heavenly language is pointing to.

Yes. It's so rare that the planets would come directly at that time. It's so rare, it wouldn't happen in thousands of years.

And, of course, you can check that also. So, many, many people saw that. It was a big thing in Christianity.

And everybody was so excited, they were like, oh, what could that mean? It must mean the rapture. And so everybody was expecting the rapture. Except us.

And why not us? Because we had a clock. We had the Orion clock. And in the Orion clock, here's the Orion clock.

It was our trumpet cycle. These are trumpets. I just drew them that way.

But this is the constellation of Orion. You can see the three stars in the middle, and then the four stars on the outside. And I won't go into detail about how we came to that, but every star, and this one is along the line of the belt, every star corresponded to a date.

And that was part of the trumpets of Revelation. Because there's a series of seven trumpets in Revelation. And so we understood when they would be sounding.

And this was September 23rd. This sign. And we knew that that was in the time of the fourth trumpet.

Right? September 14th. So it was a little bit after the beginning of the fourth trumpet time. So we knew there was still more time to come.

It wasn't going to be the rapture. Now, that's nice, but we... One thing that's important is we need to have not just a random idea. See, that's the problem with most of Christianity.

They saw the sign, and they said, wow, that never happened before. It must be the rapture. But there was nothing in the Bible to directly say that should be the rapture.

We understood that it was in the fourth trumpet time. Now, look what happens when you compare what we see here, where the sign is described with the sun, the moon, and the stars. And then we look at the fourth trumpet.

What does the Bible say about the fourth trumpet? Here in Revelation chapter 8, verse 12, the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and the third part of what? The sun. And the third part of the moon. And the third part of the star.

So in this trumpet, it's talking about the sun, the moon, the stars, just like it was with the woman. So it's a relationship. It shows, hey, there's something similar between this trumpet time frame and this woman sign that's in that same time frame.

That's a relationship that we can see because we have the clock, the Orion clock. But there's a little bit more. In the next verse, still of the trumpet, he says, I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven and saying with a loud voice, woe, woe, woe.

And this woman, by the way, in the previous picture, in the Bible, it describes her as being pregnant. And she's about to give birth. And what does a woman do when she's going to give birth? Exactly.

There are woes, there's pain, birth pains. So you can see how this time frame of the fourth trumpet, the description of it in the Bible is very similar or compatible with this sign that everybody saw. So the two need to be put together.

The Christian world saw the sign of the woman, but they didn't have the clock. Only we had the clock to go with the sign. And unfortunately, many people dismissed the sign.

They said, ah, it wasn't the rapture. It was just imagination. But it wasn't.

It was really, truly the sign. But it needed to be understood in terms of the clock. Only those who were watching, who would know the time, could understand that.

All right. There are some other things that I wanted to talk about, but for another time. But the big question that the disciples had was about the sign of the Son of Man.

And because we have been watching, we've been looking at the stars, and comparing that to the Bible. That's the important thing. You know, you can read the daily horoscope, and that's looking at the stars.

But it's just imagination as to what that means. We need it from the Bible. Otherwise, it tends to be just astrology.

If you just make up stuff, you can imagine, you know, you have a lion and a woman. You can imagine a story behind that. But it's silly.

It's just, that would be like reading the horoscope. But we have the Bible, and the Bible tells us what the signs mean. It's a lot like putting together a puzzle.

You know the jigsaw puzzles? You find where the piece goes, and you do that. That's how, especially the Revelation, that's how it works. This sign is one piece of the puzzle.

Now we understand where Revelation 12:1, what it points to. We have that piece in place. And this gives us confidence in that, because we see that relationship.

So we know, yes, that was right. We weren't just imagining things, because it fits with the clock. The clock and the Bible, and what it says, it fits it together.

So let me skip forward some, sadly, to another sign. Now this is the sign of the Son of Man. This is what the disciples were asking about.

Now, this is very different, because we're looking at something else. It's not the sun. It's not the planets.

What is this? Where did these lines come from? They're comets. What is a comet? A comet... Okay, when you look at a comet, it looks a lot like a star. They're even called stars sometimes.

They're a little bit fuzzy. They have a cloud around them. And remember, Jesus said he would be coming in the clouds.

So the comets, they're like a star with a cloud. And these lines, that's showing us the path of the comet, how it moves in the sky. There are two comets we're looking at.

One comes from the clock, and it goes this way, and then comes down to the head of Orion. What's the name of this clock? The Horologium, it's called. Or in Spanish, it's just the reloj.

The other comet comes the opposite direction from the river and travels to the clock. Now you remember the Orion constellation, this is the clock that told us when the woman sign fits. Right? So this is a clock also.

So we have a clock on one side, and we have a clock on the other side. In fact, many people since ancient times have seen this. It has the shape kind of like an hourglass.

So it is very much a literal clock. It's like an hourglass, draining the sand. You can even see some of the sand draining down into the bottom part of the hourglass.

So this is also about the time, specifically about the end of the world. Now, if you look at the shape of that, because God uses shapes, he draws, and this is his artwork, if you will, the path of the comets. What do you see there? It's not an apple.

A fish. Yeah, it looks a lot like a fish. What kind of a fish? Like a whale.

It looks a lot like a whale. It's got that big body, and then you can imagine the fin kind of being there. Yeah, you can see that.

A smiling whale. That smiling one, even. But okay, is that just our imagination? Did Jesus say anything about a whale? Is there any Bible story that comes to mind when you think of a whale? What about Jonah? Jonah and the whale.

It's a common Bible story, especially for children. Did Jesus say anything about that in relation to the sign of the Son of Man? Yes, thank you. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

So this was talking about the sign that Jesus would experience at the cross, but it has a greater significance also because it points... He prefaces it saying, an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonah. So he's saying Jonah and the whale, that was a sign. And he connects that.

He says an evil and adulterous generation. Does that explain our generation? I think so. I would say this is an evil and adulterous generation.

We live in a time that that accurately describes us. Amen. Not us, hopefully, but this generation.

And he connects that with the sign of the prophet Jonah. All right. Sure.

It connects also to the time, but it relates the shape, it relates this whale to the sign of Jesus' coming, of the end of the world, because it's that last generation that has this sign. All right. So that tells us that it's not just our imagination that God drew this like a whale.

Okay. There's a lot more to that, but I don't have time for everything, but I just want to point out one key aspect, and that is in Revelation, Jesus identifies himself. Chapter 1 and verse 8. If Jesus wanted to say, this is my sign, how would he do that? Normally, in ancient times, when they wanted to say, this is mine, they had a little ring called a signet ring, and they would have some symbol or their initials or something on that ring, and they would press that into wax, and they would seal whatever it was that they wanted to claim as their own.

So it was kind of like a little signature on whatever they put that on. And Jesus says here, I am Alpha and Omega. All right.

We don't need to read the whole thing, but he says, I am Alpha and Omega. What is Alpha and Omega? Right. They're letters in the alphabet.

This was written in Greek. That was the language that was common in Jesus' day. So what did those letters look like? And if we actually look at the Greek manuscript, this is what Greek looks like.

Very different. But this is what the Bible, the New Testament, was translated from. This was the original Greek, and it was translated into English, into German, into Spanish, into many different languages.

All right. So looking at verse 8, right at the beginning, it said, I am Alpha and Omega. This says, ego, that's I. eimi, that's am.

And then to is the. Alpha. Okay.

and the Omega. Alpha and Omega. See that? So it's just a letter.

And they wrote out the word because we don't have Alpha as a letter. But it's just a letter in the original Greek. All right.

Kind of like a W. And it looks a lot like an A, lowercase. All right. So if Jesus wanted to tell us that this sign belonged to him, how would he do it? We should expect to see his signature in there.

And that's exactly what we see. There's the Alpha. All right.

You see the shape of that? And there's the Omega. Has both of them. All right.

So together, they are the Alpha and Omega. It's like a monogram. This is his signet ring that says, this is mine.

This is my sign. This is the sign of the Son of Man. And he presses his signet ring with that Alpha and Omega signature.

Yes. There are many different symbols inside also, and around. It says many different things.

Many different things. But I just want to point out that he signs it with his own initials. All right.

Lastly, what are initials? If you were to use initials to sign something, what initials would you use? Just any random initials? You use... No, my first name and last name. Exactly. It comes from your name.

It's about who you are. So my initials would be R, D. That's my first name and my last name. So the first letter of each.

So that means that in the language of heaven, Jesus' name, his first name, should start with an A, or an Alpha, and his last name should start with an Omega. How can we understand that in the heavenly symbolism? All right. If we... look at the last name first.

Okay? Let's start with that one. Omega. That's the family name, right? So if you look in the heavens, we have many different constellations.

They're like little families of stars. So what families of stars start with Omega? If we were to write the names of the constellations in Greek, which ones would start with Omega? There are 88 different constellations in the whole sky. Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, 88.

That's a lot. Only two start with Omega. Only two.

Interesting. What's more interesting, these are the two. The very two that are clocks.

These are the only clocks in heaven. The only ones. 88 constellations.

There's one hourglass, and there's one clock. Orion, when you write it in Greek, this is Omega. This is a capital, because it's a first name.

It's a pronoun, and they started with a capital letter like we do in English and Spanish. But that's the Omega. Okay? Orion.

You see the O sound. Orion. It's also an Omega.

And Horologium is Orologium in Greek. The only two. And there they are in the sign of the Son of Man.

Wow. What's that? Yeah, amen. That's great. Amen.

So when Jesus says, I'm Alpha and Omega, he's saying, this is my family, the time. He's identifying himself with the family of time. Right? So if the family is a collection of stars, then each star would be like the member of the family, and they would have a different first name.

Right? Now, not every star has a name, at least not that we know. Maybe God has a name for them. For example, these stars, they're not really big and bright.

They're dim. And they don't have any name. They just have symbols, numbers, and letters that the scientists use to identify them.

But there's no name. But with Orion, they're very bright stars. And they've had names for a long, long time.

The ancient people, they named them. There are two stars among all of these, but among these, there are two stars that start with an alpha in the Greek. And they're both right here, in the middle.

One is Alnitak, and the other one is Alnilam, in the middle. And you know what? In the Bible, it says that Jesus would write on his people. It's a promise to those who overcome.

In Revelation 3:12, if you want to look at it. And he says, I will write on them my new name. It's at the end of the verse.

You can switch to that. He writes several things, and the last, he says, I will write upon him my new name. So Jesus has a new name.

Alright? Many people today like to use Jesus' authentic Hebrew name. Yeshua. You know, you hear a lot of people talking about Yeshua, HaMashiach, and as though saying it in Hebrew is somehow better.

I don't know. But Jesus himself says, I have a new name. That's something, not an old name like Yeshua, for example, but a new name.

And this is where that comes from. His new name is from this star that represents him. There's a lot that can be said about that, but that's for another time.

So we know Jesus. He's Jesus Christ. But we understand that he's represented by that star that begins with the letter A, Alnitak.

That's his new name. And I said there were two. Alnitak and Alnilam.

What do the names mean? Alnilam means a string of pearls. Kind of like the three pearls there. Nice.

Alnitak means the wounded one. So who was wounded for us? Jesus. Jesus was.

And that's how we know, that's one reason how we know that that represents Jesus. Jesus was the wounded one. He was the lamb who was wounded from the beginning.

Alright. So yeah. I think that's pretty amazing.

Jesus' new name. Alnitak of the family of Orion. That's his new name.

Alpha and Omega. Now you know what that actually means when he says several times in the Revelation, I am Alpha and Omega. He's saying, I am Alnitak of Orion.

He's pointing directly to the heavens. He's pointing to a clock. He wants us to know the time.

And so that is our study, is to understand the time, to understand the sign of the Son of Man, so that we can know when Jesus will come. Because that's what he said. So that he won't come as a thief.

We're watching for him. And by watching, we learn the time. And learning, of course, is a process.

It doesn't happen all at once. He doesn't tell us like that. But we learn.

And sometimes in that process of learning, we say, no, that's not him yet, but okay. We still watch. And we look.

We understand the clock until we know and we see him really coming. Alright. So I hope that you've learned a little bit about the language of heaven today.

Good. And that's it. Alright.

So let's close with a little prayer. And then we'll go. Alright.

Let's stand for prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for directing our attention to the heavens where you have written from creation about the time. And you've put many symbols in the heavens to show us different things at different times to guide us along the way because it's a journey.

And we're walking with you. And ultimately at the end of our journey, we will continue to walk with you, but directly, to see you face to face. And that is our hope, our joy, our expectation, because we love you and we want to see you coming.

And we trust in what you're showing us, that it is indeed your sign marked with your signature. And so we are full of hope to see you very soon. And we ask that you will help us to share this with others who are also hopeful and expectant, waiting for your return.

And we thank you for all that you do in our lives. And we ask for your protection, as you have promised even through this sign, through these challenging times on this earth. And we pray these things in the name of Jesus, who is the wounded one.

Alnitak. Amen. All right.
